Our center follows CDC and CMS guidelines for precautions, testing, and reporting for COVID-19.

Visitation and Visitor Precautions

Visitation: We are excited to share that CMS released new visitation guidance that allows for indoor visitation for all patients at all times. Visitors will need to follow our CORE principles of COVID-19 infection prevention. It is important that you do not visit if you have any signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or do not feel well. Should you begin to exhibit any signs and symptoms of COVID-19 when visiting, we ask that you understand the risk that you may present to others and leave the center.

There may be times when we have staff members and/or patients that are infected with COVID-19. Please be aware of that potential risk. Our website will have our most current COVID-19 case status.

Dashboard Reporting

CMS requires us to notify the families of our skilled nursing patients of status changes including when a confirmed infection of COVID-19 is identified, or whenever 3 or more patients or staff with new onset of respiratory symptoms within 72 hours. NHC reports patients and staff with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 directly to the local and state departments of health.

Dashboard Reporting: This notification dashboard reflects the data as of midnight the prior day. It’s updated by 5:00 pm the next day after results are received.

Dashboard Reporting Categories

Number of In-House Active COVID Patients refers to the number of patients with active COVID-19 diagnosis being treated with appropriate personal protective equipment.

Number of Employee Active COVID-19 cases refers to the number of staff with active COVID-19.

Number of new onset Respiratory Symptoms refers to when three or more patients or staff have new onset respiratory symptoms that occur within 72 hours.
