“I learned about coping skills and things that help mental health. I learned about the things that can happen if people drink or have substance abuse problems with a mental illness. I was on the fence of attempting suicide. I felt like my life was out of my control. I wanted all the uncertainty to stop. I couldn’t make any of the decisions I needed to. Coming to OBCCD I learned that it’s ok to not know what to do. It’s ok to feel uncertain. I learned coping skills and how to manage my anxiety. I got my meds under control. I feel so much better. The staff was so kind and attentive. They really made all this so much easier.”
