“After groups and new meds, in a few days I was right as rain. I can’t thank the staff enough for saving my life and for giving it back to me.”

“I was so nervous and scared to be here, but after a few days everyone treats you so good! I overdosed because I was a drug addict and I felt ashamed but all the groups, counseling, staff, and other patients made me feel better about it all. I came in lost, scared, and hopeless and now just 8 days later I’m happy again. I feel healthier already and I am on the right path in life. I’m going to go to AA meetings, and a lot of other support groups once I’m home to stay sober and happy! Thank you all for the help and push to make me a better me!”

An outstanding facility. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable, passionate, compassionate, and professional. If you have a true desire to get better, this is the place to do it. Show up, invest yourself, and you won’t be disappointed. You WILL get out of it what YOU put into it. I highly recommend this for anyone having issues in their life and they need help coping. Really. I cannot say enough about their top notch staff. Everyone cares and they prove it.

I had a amazing experience here. I enjoyed being at the cognitive center. The facility was so nice, understanding, funny, and helpful. They made me feel safe. I met a lot of different people and got to share my story with others. Shorty was my favorite facility member she is so sweet and funny. I want to thank everyone at the center for all their help. “I have been in and out of these facilities since the age of 8 years old. I have a problem of asking for help and before coming in here I had been overly stressed and been arguing with my husband due to stress. What got me in here was the cause of, not just drinking alcohol and using marijuana, but also some domestic violence with my husband. After a night of drinking things became verbal, then physical between my husband and I. I want others to know my story and learn from it. Having a good support group and a trusted person to talk to is always important. For a long time I always thought it was a sign of weakness when I sought help, but then I was told by these wonderful people here as Center for Behavioral Health that it is not a weakness at all, but a very good thing for you as a person when you ask for help since you are ensuring your safety, well being and mental health. I have learned so much coming to this facility that will help me when I get out and be able to help me deal with stressful situations. I also used to turn to self-harm and/or suicidal thoughts but being here has taught me better ways to be able to deal with my depression and anxiety.”

“I actually came here thinking I didn’t need help. But once I got here and settled down I took time to think, I needed help. Not only with getting along with people but to help me stop self-harming. When there is a thought in my head about self-harming I know that it’s not worth doing because why would I want to hurt myself. So I learned some coping skills and learned new things about myself. The staff I give a A+ to. They helped me tremendously. I am so glad that I got the help when I did. You know that I would never admit that I needed help. But when I got here so much changed. Make your walls into doors. It was one of the groups that got me saying this.
