As we approach flu season, getting a flu shot is one of the best ways to protect your loved ones and yourself. Flu vaccinations help reduce the risk of illness, keep our communities healthier, and ensure that everyone enjoys a safer season. Center News: This month we will be having a fair on September 19th 2:00pm-4:00pm. There will be lots of games, prizes, fair food and fun!
Announcements for Families: 2 of our residents will be in the Delta Fair Parade on Tuesday, September 24th at 5:30pm throwing candy from a convertible. Give us a wave and a holler! Any families that are wanting to take their loved ones to the fair, the week of the 24th-28th are encouraged to if able. Unfortunately, NHC does not have the means of transportation ability to take the residents. This is why we are hosting our fair on the 19th. Families are encouraged to come learn how to line dance on Wednesday, September 11th at 3:15pm-4:00pm. Also be on the lookout for details coming about our October Fall Festival we will be having for residents, staff and families.

NHC’s Game Day Kickoff Buffalo Chicken Dip
Get ready to cheer on your favorite team with NHC’s Game Day Kickoff Buffalo Chicken Dip! Quick to make and packed with flavor, it’s perfect for enjoying the game with family and friends.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great!)
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, Buffalo sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and half of the shredded cheeses.
- Spread and Top: Spread the mixture into an oven-safe dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, and serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.
