Center News: Fall Pictures- Residents having Fall pictures made for family and friends, Thursday, October 3rd 2:00pm-4:00pm. Sunshine Dance with the Sunshine Club from Holcomb High School, Monday, October 7th, 2:00pm-3:30pm. Karaoke with Bruce Turner, Monday, October 14th at 2:00pm-3:30pm. First Responders Breakfast, Monday, October 28th at 8:00am-8:45am. Fall Festival- Costumes, candy, games, hot dogs, picture booth, Wednesday, October 30th for residents, staff, families and community at 4:00pm-5:30pm. Halloween Party-games, prizes, costume competition, food and drinks Thursday, October 31st 2:00pm-3:30pm.
Announcements for Families: Please join your loved ones at activities, they love having you be a part of this, and we would love to have you. Please come to our Fall Festival, Wednesday, October 30th from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Residents will be having a shopping spree to use there earned points from activities throughout the year on Thursday, November 14th. Please join us for this and help your loved one’s shop and use their points wisely. Be on the lookout for future updates on our Holiday dinner.
Special Thanks: Thank you First Christian Church for helping with bingo, church services, and donations. Thank you VNA Hospice for helping with our memorial service, church and crafts. Thank you Legacy Hospice for helping with our Carnival. Thank you Pastor Alex Palmer for doing Bible Study with our residents. Thank you Kennett Line Dancers for teaching our residents how to line dance. Thank you Daryl Wilcoxson for playing the piano for us.
FLU SEASON
As flu season begins, we want to remind everyone to take extra precautions. Please make sure to get your flu shot, and if you’re feeling under the weather, we kindly ask that you stay home and plan your visit for another time when you’re feeling better. Don’t forget to wash your hands regularly to help keep everyone healthy!

Hurricane Helene Update
We are incredibly proud of the remarkable teamwork our NHC team members have shown in supporting locations impacted by Hurricane Helene. Many of our NHC partners are recovering from loss and storm destruction, and their resilience during this difficult time is inspiring. Please continue to keep those impacted by the Hurricane in your thoughts and prayers as they rebuild and recover.
