While the first day of Summer is recognized on June 21st, it is hard to deny that all the warm feelings of all that is Summer have arrived. June is a time of celebration for many with friends, family, churches, and neighbors. Whether you have a special trip planned or sticking close to home, we wish you all a happy Summer!

We are so excited for June, and it is packed with fun. Our friend, Kimberly Way with Caris is joining us to lead a summer craft at 2:00pm on June 4th. We are celebrating National Iced Tea Day in the courtyard at 2:00pm on June 10th. We are thrilled to recognize all the dads and father figures in the facility with a surprise for Father’s Day. We will be visiting their rooms on Friday June 14th to show our appreciation and gratitude for their unconditional love and wisdom. It will be an early celebration as Father’s Day is observed on June 16th. Laughs and Lemonade will be hosted by our Life Enrichment Partner, Michelle, on June 15th at 2:00pm in the courtyard. Don’t miss out on this Saturday fun! We will keep everyone cool with Snowcones on June 17th at 2:00pm – This coincidentally falls on National Eat Your Veggies Day… I pick the snowcones! The First *official* Day of Summer is on June 20th and we will be joined by the Ohana Ukuleleans at 3:00pm in the courtyard. They are going to play great music while we enjoy the weather and some refreshing frozen treats! We hope to see you at all of these and many, many more!

Family and friends are always welcome in our activities, and we encourage you to join in on the fun. June is going to be a month full of sunshine and happiness. Please contact Emily Hatch or Sara Bell if you have any questions!
